4 Class Starts Attend your first class as per your chosen learning mode — Regular, Part-time, Distance, or Online. Exam is scheduled in July / August each year.

Course Responsibilities — What You Will Learn to Do

  • Personal Care: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Mobility: Help patients walk and transfer between beds, wheelchairs, and chairs; reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse; report changes to nursing staff. This skill complements knowledge from our Medical Lab Technician Course.
  • Nutrition: Assist with feeding and ensure patients meet their hydration and dietary needs.
  • Environmental Care: Keep patient rooms and common areas clean and sanitized; change bedding and maintain a safe environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient care activities, intake, and output.
  • Emotional Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
