Course Overview:
Principles, theory and practice will be taught at the Assistant level in the disciplines of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Recreation Therapy. Students will obtain an academic and practical foundation in the areas of health and rehabilitation science, and will take introductory-level university courses in English, Biology and Psychology.
Course Responsibilities:-
The course covers responsibilities like conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans under the supervision of a physician. Students also learn about patient counseling, assisting in surgeries, prescribing medication, managing patient records, and handling both routine and emergency care.
The training includes both theoretical knowledge and practical, hands-on clinical experience in various settings, such as primary care, hospitals, and specialty departments.
