Course Overview:

     The program covers techniques for creating various styles, from the traditional and glamorous to editorial and commercial looks, and equips you with the skills to build a professional career as a makeup artist. 

Course Responsibilities:-

• Consult with clients: Meet with clients to understand their needs and advise them on suitable makeup and styling options.
• Perform makeup application: Apply makeup for various purposes, including bridal, fashion, and portfolio shoots, using techniques like corrective, highlighting, and airbrushing. 

Technical and creative responsibilities

• Know skin and products: Be knowledgeable about skin structure, basic beauty therapies, and a wide range of makeup and beauty products.
• Apply makeup techniques: Utilize a variety of techniques to achieve desired looks for different events and clients. 

Professional and administrative responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain workspace: Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Maintain health and safety: Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both the artist and the client.
• Promote and sell services/products: Market and sell makeup services and products to clients.
• Manage and lead teams: May be responsible for managing and leading a team, depending on the role

 Course Curriculum components:

• Skincare: Basic facial treatments, skin analysis, and pre-makeup skin preparation are crucial for a flawless base.
• Bridal Makeup: Focuses on creating looks for the wedding day, including different styles and techniques that are long-lasting and photograph well.
• Fashion and Portfolio Makeup: Involves high-definition makeup techniques, editorial looks for photoshoots, and creative styles for runway or commercial work.
• Airbrush Makeup: Teaches the application of airbrush makeup for a smooth, flawless, and long-lasting finish.
• Hair Styling: Covers basic hair techniques and advanced styling for different looks, including updos, curls, and incorporating accessories like extensions or wigs for bridal and fashion clients. 

Professional and Business Skills

• Client Consultation: Involves understanding client needs, preferences, and requirements to create a personalized look.
• Professional Practices: Includes maintaining a clean and safe work area, adhering to strict hygiene standards, and managing a professional appearance and attitude.
• Business and Marketing: Teaches how to promote services, build a professional portfolio, manage a business, and handle client relationships.
• Team and Client Management: Covers skills for leading a team, managing a budget, and collaborating with other professionals like photographers and wedding planners.
• Employability Skills: Covers aspects like career development, customer service, and digital and financial literacy, preparing you for the professional world. 

•  Job opportunities: Makeup instructor ,freelance artist for weddings and events, a fashion and editorial makeup artist for photoshoots, or a celebrity makeup artist
