Course Overview:

       The course combines theoretical and practical learning to cover automotive mechanics, electrical systems, engines, and modern technologies like electric and autonomous vehicles. Graduates can pursue careers as automotive technicians, engineers, or maintenance specialists in the automotive industry.  

 

Course Responsibilities:-

Core Delivery Duties

  • Loading and Unloading: Accurately pick up items from a central hub or designated location, and safely load them onto the two-wheeler.
  • Safe Transportation: Transport goods and packages to specified customer locations in a secure and safe manner, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Timely Delivery: Follow assigned routes and time schedules efficiently to ensure all deliveries are made on time.
  • Route Navigation: Use maps, GPS, and delivery apps to plan and follow the most efficient routes, avoiding traffic congestion when possible. 

Documentation and Operations

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, which may involve using a handheld electronic device to input delivery information.
  • Proof of Delivery: Obtain necessary proof of delivery, such as a customer's signature or a photo of the delivered item at the doorstep.
  • Payment Collection: Collect payments from customers when required, ensuring accurate handling of cash or processing digital payments.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections, basic maintenance checks, and ensure the delivery vehicle (bike/scooter) is kept clean and in good working condition. 

Customer Service and Communication

  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, including polite and professional communication with clients, addressing inquiries, and handling complaints or issues that may arise during the delivery process.
  • Communication with Dispatch: Maintain ongoing and effective communication with dispatchers and the management team, reporting any delays, issues, or incidents immediately.

  • Time Management: Efficiently manage time and prioritize deliveries to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively address potential delivery challenges or issues, such as an incorrect address or customer unavailability.

  • Engine and powertrain: Theory and practical skills for assembling, dismantling, and repairing engines and gearboxes.

  • Brakes and suspension: Learning to inspect, adjust, and repair braking and suspension systems.
  • Fuel and lubrication: Knowledge of fuel systems, carburetors, and lubrication processes.
