Course Overview:
This course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of beauty therapy, as well as how to maintain workplace hygiene and safety. Students will learn about various beauty products and be able to perform basic depilation, manicure, pedicure, and face care services..
Course Responsibilities:-
Customer service and sales
- Assist customers by helping them find and select products that meet their needs and preferences.
- Provide expert advice on beauty and wellness products and treatments.
- Demonstrate products, showing clients how to use them effectively.
- Promote and sell products and services to meet sales goals.
- Collect and relay customer feedback to management.
Beauty and wellness services
- Perform basic treatments such as epilation, waxing, threading, manicures, and pedicures.
- Assist senior beauticians or therapists with more advanced services.
- Perform basic makeup application and facial treatments like masks and scrubs.
Operations and maintenance
- Help maintain a clean and organized salon or spa environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking and checking product displays.
- Ensure all equipment and products are handled and stored correctly, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
Professional development
- Continuously learn about new beauty and wellness products, trends, and techniques.
- Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and senior consultants.

- Skincare and treatments: Basic facials, skin analysis, and product application.
- Hair removal: Techniques like threading and waxing.
- Makeup: Basic makeup application and application for different skin types.
- Hair services: Basic hair styling and care techniques.
- Nail care: Manicures and pedicures.
- Body and wellness: Treatments like body massages and the use of various beauty products.
Foundational and professional knowledge
- Hygiene and safety: Understanding and implementing workplace cleanliness, safety regulations, and infection control.
- Anatomy and physiology: Basic knowledge of skin, hair, and nail structure.
- Product knowledge: Identifying different types of beauty products and their effects.
- Client consultation: Techniques for effectively communicating with clients to understand their needs and recommend services.
