Course Overview:
It covers topics like tourism destinations, travel planning, customer service, and airline ticketing in the tourism-hospitality sector, preparing graduates for roles such as travel agent, tour guide, or hotel manager. The duration of these programs can range from six months to two years.
Course responsibilities:-
Client and customer service
- Assist clients with travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and car rentals.
- Provide customer support, answer queries, and build customer loyalty.
- Create and customize itineraries based on client needs and budget.
Tour operations and management
- Design, plan, and organize tour packages for individuals or groups.
- Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, and tour guides to ensure seamless logistics.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a tour to ensure a positive experience for travelers.
Marketing and promotion
- Promote specific destinations, services, and tour packages through marketing campaigns.
- Develop and manage social media and advertising strategies.
- Collaborate with tourism boards and local businesses to attract visitors.
Event planning and management
- Plan and coordinate events like conferences, exhibitions, and festivals.
- Manage all aspects of an event, from conceptualization and budgeting to logistics and vendor coordination.
- Ensure safety and legal regulations are followed during events.
Hospitality and administration
- Oversee daily operations of hotels, resorts, or other hospitality establishments.
- Manage staff, coordinate services, and ensure high standards of guest satisfaction.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as preparing work schedules and managing supplies.
