Course Overview:
It’s a vocational training program that teaches the skills needed to assess and ensure the quality of garments throughout the production process, covering topics like fabric analysis, stitching techniques, and defect identification.
Course Responsibilities:-
Inspection and testing
- Inspect materials and products: Examine incoming raw materials, such as fabric and trims, and finished garments for defects like color inconsistencies, weaving errors, and stitching flaws.
- Conduct audits: Perform regular quality audits of products at various stages, including in-line, end-of-line, pre-final, and final inspection points.
- Perform tests: Conduct durability, functionality, and safety tests to ensure products meet performance standards.
- Measure and verify: Use measuring tools like calipers, gauges, and micrometers to ensure products meet size and dimension specifications.
Quality assurance and compliance
- Ensure standards are met: Verify that all inspected products comply with company specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements.
- Monitor production: Oversee production stages to maintain consistent quality and identify areas for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance: Stay updated on quality regulations and ensure all products and processes adhere to them.
- Classify products: Categorize garments according to their quality based on identified defects or deviations from specifications.
Documentation and communication
- Document findings: Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and identified defects to ensure traceability.
- Report issues: Promptly report any defects or problems to supervisors, production managers, or other senior staff for corrective action.
- Communicate with teams: Coordinate with production, procurement, and design teams to address and resolve quality issues.
- Analyze data: Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
